The delicate art of porcelain design and painting is very complex.

Since Ancient China's empire to present times, each culture, each country has contributed with its own characteristics of forms and colors for porcelain painting.

Through the years, Alicia painted a great variety of porcelain pieces in many, and in some cases very different, styles: Chinese, Japanese (old and modern), Hindu, French, German, Dutch, English, modern-contemporary, watercolors, and American folkloric and special designs for children.

There are international associations of porcelain painters, numerous suppliers of the necessary materials and a vast amount of information on the subject.
